Dana Fatchen
Growing up in Goolwa on the Fleurieu Peninsula and being surrounded by the natural wonders of the Murray River, the relatively pristine coast and the diverse wildlife, one is easily inspired. My interest in photography developed after I picked up my first digital camera following the birth of my first son. I soon developed a passion for this artistic medium. My first exhibition was titled “Chasing Light” and that is exactly what I do, I chase and capture the light that falls across our land and seas. The rush and the feeling of excitement experienced when creating an image or capturing a moment that will never exist again is what I love most about my chosen field of art.
