Ros Stoldt
I have just moved to Encounter Bay from Kangaroo Island where I have resided for 54 years. I was one of the founding members of the Kangaroo Island Gallery.
I have had many exhibitions in abstract quilts, pottery, spinning and weaving, print making and painting. I was also involved in many group exhibitions on the island and sound work in two galleries and some business premises
At the moment the medium I am working with is eco printing.
I source eucalyptus leaves and test them to see if they will print on fabric and paper. Where possible I use locally grown leaves.
I use wool, wool/silk, fabric and paper to print onto.
I love the artistic process of experimenting and learning a new media.
