Sue Bridle
Sue lives locally and is a self-taught artist, working in all types of mediums - acrylic, pencils, pastels and her favourite - watercolour. “I love how unpredictable it can be”, Sue says, ‘I like to test myself by using all types of surfaces as a canvas, such as paper, paperbark, palm fronds and even canvas! I enjoy them all”. Sue has also designed greeting cards for ‘Heart Kids Australia’ as a fund raiser, and Christmas cards too. Working in the upholstery industry for many years, Sue now combines her artistic eye with her upholstery skills to create colourful and unique patchwork chairs in bright and interesting fabrics. “I have been a member of Art@Goolwa since the beginning in 2012 and very happy to be here alongside so many gifted artists”. |
